Introduction to

Founding and Purpose of the
Order.
|
| Ordo Sacerdotalvs Templi came about as the inspiration of
Joseph Dismore's personal experiences of Self-Discovery through
the guidance of his Higher Genius or Intuitive Intellect. This reflected
the experiences of his Life, with the result of a type of Spiritual
Awakening which began to clarify many of Life's questions for him,
including the understanding that what we are today was in the process
of becoming even before we were present in this existence. Our lives
and the conditions of our lives are common to all, but, the Realization
that we "Can Effect Change In Our Environment Through Determined
Acts of Will" was a decisive Truth the Founder came to understand
as Fundamental to the Process of Growth.
Ordo Sacerdotalvs Templi or "Order of Temple Priests/Priestesses"
has the Main Intent of Inspiring Seekers to Search and Study all
forms of Knowledge, especially the Past Wisdoms of our Ancestors
for which we have as Predecessors who laid the Foundations of
Our Modern Societies of the Present. The Reason for this Study
of the Ancient Past, Medieval History and the Present World of
Culture and Life is in order that we may Build more wisely upon
the Structure of Society, with the Intent of Personal Liberties
and Humanitarian Treatment regardless of Color, Creed, or Religion
of any Member of Society. This Inspiration of Self-Discovery through
Knowledge is geared toward the Individual gaining a type of Gnosis
or Intuitive Knowledge of Themselves which is paramount in Order
for the Individual to be Fully Aware of Their Potentials in Realizing
Their "True Will" thus enabling the Seeker to become
more Fully Free in the Perfect Liberty of Fulfilling this "Will"
and Benifiting Themselves as well as Society.

Loyalty
William Shakespeare once wrote and I
quote: "To Thine Own Self Be True."
Loyalty to Self is an important factor in the philosophy of the
Ordo Sacerdotalvs Templi (OST), yet the word and concept of Loyalty
encompasses much more. It is the fundamental, utmost point of
the philosophy. Loyalty to Oneself, Ones Hearth/ Family, Ones
friends and loved Ones, and Ones Tribe/ Community and the commitment
to those loyalties are the most desired qualities personally obtainable.
In the Symbolism
of the Ordo Sacerdotalvs Templi, 'Loyalty' is the circle which
encompasses the OST
Pentagram. It is not only the circle but the utmost
point of the star. Without Loyalty the attainment of the other
four qualities of Life, Light, Liberty and Love would hold little
meaning.
